Armstrong Group Inc. – Sent me a fake check

Armstrong Group Inc. sent me a check saying that I had won some prize for some contest that I never entered. The check was supposed to be for a partial amount and I was to contact someone to get the rest of the prize. So far, everything points to a scam.

I took the check to my bank and of course they told me that the check was fake. Please don’t fall for this kind of scam. If someone just tries to give you money, you need to take a step back and think about for a second. Hopefully you will then realize that you are being targeted by con artists.
