So, I recently made a reservation on Priceline and I will say that I have been very happy dealing with them up until this point. Anyway, I made a reservation for the place and time that I wanted without any problems. Things got crazy for me and 1 month later I went to make a reservation and I could not find any of my documents and assumed that I had not made.
So, I went ahead and made a reservation for the exact place, time, and cost as my previous one. A short time later I found my original paperwork and I immediately called Priceline and told them what had happened. I know that they have a policy of no refunds, but this is clearly a mistake and I feel as if it should be correctable.
After talking with customer service and escalating to the manager and speaking with him, I was repeatedly told that a refund was not possible. Now, I am stuck with 2 of the exact same reservations and out the money. This is more of a complaint than a report of a scam, but is pretty close to one. They have lost a long term customer for this easily fixable mistake.

There has got to be a better way to fix a mistake. I did the same thing and booked an extra day that I did not need. I caught it right away and was told that there is nothing they could do. Come on. Human error is going to play some sort of role every once in a while and there should be a way to take care of it.
