Dealfun.com – gifts for Christmas won’t show up

Dear DealFun.com

Why are you telling people to get Christmas gifts for their loved ones when they won’t arrive in time? Nothing that I won in November has arrived yet, so how are items won now going to arrive in time? Don’t bother telling me to contact customer service, I’ve already done that. Besides I won’t get a response BEFORE Christmas.

Example:
·Order received on 2011-11-28 13:30.(GZ)
Order confirmed on 2011-12-14 18:37.(GZ)
·Processing in warehouse on 2011-12-14 18:38.(GZ)

The order was marked shipped on November 28 yet it still has not left the warehouse.

123wages.com – This is a big scam

“As explained in the loan agreement, in terms of payment, on your scheduled pay date you have 2 options, you may extend the loan by paying the $79 interest only, or repay the full balance of $279 to close the account. All payments will be taken from the same checking account that the loan is sent to. When you wish to pay the full balance, please advise us via the website at least

Home Wealth Formula – Paid money but never got anything

I wanted to make some money in my free time, so I signed up and paid money to Home Wealth Solutions. Shortly after, they had took money from my account and I never got anything in return. I was never sent any kind of log in to the site and now I am not able to get in touch with anyone form this company.

HottPerfume.com – Fake perfume

I ordered a bottle of perfume from this site and it cost about the same as what you would pay at the store, but it was a good deal. The deal was not that good that I would think that I was getting anything other than the actual perfume that I wanted. I got the bottle and then gave it to my girlfriend and she said that it did not smell like the real thing.

PayPerMails.com – Huge fraud

I signed up for PayPerMails.com and even paid money for the upgraded membership to get faster payouts. I then proceeded to spend a lot of time and effort into the mails that they sent me to get to minimum payout level. It should be noted that one of the perks of the membership that I bought was that there was no minimum for a payout.

MateOut.com – Charged me the full amount before the trial was over

I wanted to just check the site out and see what it was all about so I signed out for the free trial. As soon as a made an account I had some messages and winks from unknown girls. Then the trial started and I found out that the winks and messages were just BS spam. Before the 3 day free trial was over they had already charged my account 100 dollars for the full membership.

Eyepothesis.com – free trial rip off

I gave eyepothesis my credit card information to pay the shipping and handling on a free sample offer of some eye cream. The small trial bottle came in the mail and it was OK, but I did not think that I wanted to keep paying for it. I then looked at my bank account and they charged me over 80 dollars for what was supposed to be a free trial.

JustAnswer.com – Never got an answer but still got charged

On the website it says that if you are not satisfied with the answer or they are unable to give you one, then you do not have to pay. Well I needed some legal advice, but they did not answer the question. I figured that it was worth a shot, but I guess no harm no foul. Well the charged me anyway, even though they did nothing for me.

MetaBurn – never got the trial and then got billed

MetaBurn advertised its products for a $4 trial of 30 days. I never got the trial and then got billed $75 for a bottle I received in a mail 30 days after I had ordered the free trial. This is a scam, and false advertising.

Tone Detox – Charged me after I cancelled my free trial

I ordered the free trial of Tone Detox and got my shipment. The reason that they even had my credit card is that I had to pay about 3 dollars for the shipping. In the terms it says that they will charge you about 15 days after the order is place for the trial shipment. I cancelled the order 2 weeks after I placed it and then 2 weeks later they still charged my card 80 bucks for the full price shipment.

XDating.com – The girls disappear as soon as you pay them money

As i hve read from these other inquiries, I was also approached by many replys on this website, as many as 3 a day when I was non-member, the day i decided to ay for it, they all stoppped. I have sent replies to other ads and still I havent received any. Does anyone know how I can get money back? They are full of scammers and it sucks that they prey even on those still want to find someone decent.

African Mango Metaburn – This is a fraud

ordered the free trial and waited for it to arrive…..waited almost 20 days and the day after it arrived I was billed for the next month. The advertisment said that I would have thirty days to trial it upon receiving it before I would be billed. I tried calling the company on all of the Australian numbers listed for 24/7 support but

BestDiscountBoots.com – Fake boots

I ordered what was supposed to be a genuine pair of Ugg boots from bestDiscountBoots.com and was completely ripped off. It clearly states on the site that these boots are real Uggs. When they arrived, they were clearly not real at all. They did not have any of the the tell tale signs that a genuine pair would have.

Cellfunz.com/True Diget LLC – charged me for downloading their app 5 times

Never heard of them, no idea what app’s they offer. I never buy app’s on my phone, I pick free apps. But when I get my phone bill there is $65. in charges from Cellfunz. com /true digit llc. They charged me for downloading their app 5 times. Come’on, 4 charges at $9.99 and 1 for $14.99 I would have never ever spent that on a application. Its ridiculous. What’s scary is these charges can just appear on my bill and I have to fight for a refund and explain I never downloaded them. This company needs to be stopped and shut down. And have charges pressed against them!!!

MegaFlix.net – Charged me for the free trial

I subscribed to megaflix.net for a free trial and they have since taken money from my bank account. This was supposed to be a free trial for me to just check this site out. They charged me right away and now it seems like there is nothing that I can do about it.

DiscountBookSale.com – Signed me up for a membership without me knowing

I bought a couple of books on DiscountBookSale.com and I though that would be the end of it. You know, like a normal store when you buy something and then they give you what you paid for. Well somehow they were able to sign me up for a monthly fee for god knows what. Now I am stuck paying this fee every month and I am not sure what I am getting for it.

Digital Hunter – Tried the old bait and switch

JUST ANOTHER SCAM SITE. I ordered a Nikon SB-700 flash. Good price. I entered all the information correctly. I got an email a couple days later asking me to call them to verify. They said they had a problem with my credit card. They said i gave them an expiration date of ?????. OK. I gave them the correct expiration YEAR.

GameHo.net – Free trial rip off

I signed up for the free trial just to see what the games were all about. It did not look like anything that I really wanted to be paying for on a monthly basis, so I cancelled before my free trial was up. Well, the have continued to take the monthly fee out of my account even after I cancelled before the deadline.

University of Phoenix – Overcharged me and then kept money I did not owe

University of Phoenix is a complete scam. They need to be stopped. Not only do you a get an education that is not worth the paper that it is printed on, they will steal money from you. I found out that they took out loans in my name and returned grant money that would have covered what I owed for classes. The loans they took were without my consent and every time I call and try to figure out what happened, I get a different answer.

Reading in America – No magazines

They call you on your phone and are very nice and polite, they try to sell you a multiple magazines subscription…
I agreed because they gave me a $1000 gift card for free gifts that I could have selected on www.selectyourgifts.com

Those gifts were so shady like 1990’s… Each gift you chose has a min of a $5.00 shipping and handling fee, even if you wanted 20 of the same, you pay individually.

I received a lot of promotional magazines, maybe 4 a month trying to sell me a subscription, but never the magazines that I chose which are supposed to be 8 a month.

Once you subscribe you cannot change your mind and cancel the account after 3 days of grace period that they give you.

One of the worst deals in my life…. No magazines, and I’m paying every month $40 dollars for two years

TheDigitalHunter.com – BUYER BEWARE

“BUYER BEWARE – BUYER BEWARE – BUYER BEWARE – BUYER BEWARE

NEVER WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MERCHANT AGAIN!!!

05JUL11 – The sales rep talked me into two sigma lenses vs the canon lenses I was going to purchase.

25JUL11 – I later returned them and ordered the two lenses I was going to purchase.

Now the problem begins.

– Problem 1: They fail to alert you that the item you are ordering is not in stock when the order is first placed.

– Problem 2: They fail to provide an invoice showing the returned product credit and breakdown for new items. Still no invoice after repeated phone requests.

SurveyCruise.com – Fake trip offer

I got an automated call from surveycruise.com and was told that if I answered a short survey I would receive free all inclusive cruise for two. I answered the questions and then someone came on the phone and asked me for my phone number and area code. I was then told to go to surveycruise.com and use my number and zip to log in and claim my tickets.

Match.com – I was taken by a con artist

I know that this could happen on any type of dating website, but I thought that I was a little safer on match.com because you had to pay for the membership. Anyway, I started talking to this man who said that he lived in my home town, but was abroad working for a couple of months. Our relationship took off and we really connected. He spoke well enough for me to think that he was a native speaker,

SpyAnyCellPhone.com – Product does not work

I bought the product from spyanycellphone.com and it does not work in the least bit. On the site it said that the software would be compatible with my phone but it sure as hell is not. I emailed them for a refund the same day that I got the product and they said to allow 4 weeks for it to be processed.
